HearthstoneInfos & Details
Stand: 01.10.2015

All listed rules are mandatory for all participants. The global ruleset apply in addition to the game-specific rules. By competing in a MATCHARENA competition the member complies, that he has read and understood the rules and he agrees with them.

The rulebooks are kept always complete and up to date. Participants should also check the Info & Details and news for additions, exceptions and modifications that may apply at their competition.

If there are any questions about the rules, please use the support system.
1. General

Every player is allowed to join a tournament at every point of time, if he meets the given requirements.

1.2 Leaving a Tournament^

A tournament can be left until the start of the check in phase without any problems. If a participant likes to leave a tournament in the running check in phase, he only has to abstain from checking in.

Every Match will be generated randomly when the tournament starts. We can't influence the seeding process. Any protest because of seeding will be declined.

Every player has to document his wins with a screenshot. The name of both players and played classes, as well as the time of the day must be clearly visible. Every player is advised to make screenshots of his losses as well, in case of irregularities.

Def-Win requests can be made via the corresponding button within the match lobby. For further support talk to an admin in our Support. Ticket-System

2. Match progress

Isn't a participant able to connect into the game, the reasons have to be written in the matchlobby. In response to that the opponent get's a defwin.

The left player on the matchdetails adds his opponent ingame and invites him to the game by hit "challenge" button on the right of the friends list.

If an opponent does not appear in the matchlobby, it has to be reported per support-ticket after a waiting time of 10 minutes past match start. To report the issue, a screenshot of the matchlobby has to be created. It is important to ensure that the screenshot includes the clock on the MATCHARENA website, which is located in the upper right of the page. It is also important to ensure that comments from the present partcipant are available.

The screenshot has to be created until start of the following round at the latest. Screens who are taken after this period won't be considered.

After both participants are in the matchlobby they got 10 minutes to play the game in Hearthstone. If one player doesn't join the game in Hearthstone, his opponent can open a support-ticket after 10 minutes but proof is needed to get the defwin.

If a participant doesn't appear in time, the match will be counted as a default win for the opponent.

Every participant is allowed to stream their games. We recommend to set up a streamdelay of at least 3 minutes.

Stream sniping can only be punished if concrete evidences are submitted.

Friends of the player may watch his match. It is entirely on his own responsibility, however.

There will be no complaints allowed regarding observers.

If the Blizzard servers crash during a match or aren't reachable anymore, the match has to be replayed. Already played submatches won't be replayed. A server crash exists when both opponents cant continue the match due to server problems.

If the server crashes for only one of the contestants it will be acted in accordance to section 2.6.2.

A player will get a defaultwin if his opponent leaves the game due to soft or hardwareproblems or even at will when he opens a support ticket with a screenshot that proofs it. The ticket has to been opened within 5 minutes after the opponent left the game. Screenshots can be uploaded at filehosters. The player which is still in game has to inform the admins about the cancellation actively.

When there is just an uploaded screenshot without informed admins the right to claim a defwin expires and the match has to been replayed as mentioned in 2.6.1.

The match has also to been replayed if the screenshot is missing or flawed.
